We've updated our Scent-of-the-Month Box
Each month you'll receive a variety of products in our Scent-of-the-Month based on the box size you choose. These scents are only available for the month and when they're gone, they're gone. If you choose one of the bigger boxes, you'll also get to try out some of the other products we make.
Why should I subscribe to a Scent-of-the-Month Box?

We're relaunching our Scent-of-the-Month Subscription Box this month to simplify our systems as we grow. It also gives you another subscription option. AND for those local, we can now offer in-store pick-up to save you on shipping costs!
The biggest changes are:
- New shipping option includes pick up in-store
- All boxes will be charged on the 25th of the month and ship within the first 5 days of the next month. (charge August 25th for September box, ship by September 5th).
- Soap only option if that's your favorite.
- All Scent-of-the-Month boxes will be monthly.
- Regular deliveries of non-scent-of-the-month products are now called Automatic Deliveries.
Each month, our production team chooses an amazing scent from our list of 300+ fragrances and essential oil blends. We use that scent to make soap. Then, we pick a few of our other products for you to try with the scent-of-the-month fragrance or essential oil blend. Products could include things like: shaving soap, body oil, shower steamers, lip balm, candles, facial masks, and more! You'll be the first to try new products.

We scatter the types of items throughout the year so you don't end up with a backlog of any one item. We'll also include the occasional soap saver to help you keep your soap dry between uses. You save $4 each month when you subscribe.

Frequently Asked Questions about Soapy Gnome's Scent-of-the-Month Boxes
How much is shipping?
Shipping is $9.99. If you're local, you can choose to pick up in store during shop hours for no shipping charge. This is a new feature for subscription boxes.
How am I charged?
We have a fixed date for running credit cards and for shipping items out. Every month, except the first month, your card will be charged on the 25th of the month, and boxes will go out the first week of the month.
There is a little bit of a delay between the charge day and the ship day in case your card doesn't go through, you have time to adjust. It also gives us a clear cut off before we start packing boxes, so we know how many of each type to fill.
The first charge can be a little confusing, so stick with me. If you order before the 11th of the month, you will be charged for and get the current month's box at the time of order. You will be charged again on the 25th for next month's box. If you order after the 11th of the month, you will be charged on the date that you place the order, but your box will go out next month. This system (though confusing) will keep you from getting two boxes in the mail too close to one another.
When can I cancel?
You can cancel anytime after your first delivery. Once payment has gone through, you're in it to win it for that month. As the subscription box gains in popularity, you may have to be added to a waiting list to rejoin the subscription box.
How do I get my box if I chose local pick up?
If you have chosen local pick up as an option, your box will be ready for pick up no later than the 5th of the month. If it is ready sooner, you will get an email notification that your order is ready for pick up.
