Then, we pick a few of our other products for you to try with the scent-of-the-month fragrance or essential oil blend. Products could include things like: shaving soap, body oil, shower steamers, lip balm, candles, facial masks, and more! You'll be the first to try new products.

Frequently Asked Questions about Soapy Gnome's Scent-of-the-Month Boxes
How much is shipping?
Shipping is $9.99. If you're local, you can choose to pick up in store, during shop hours for no shipping charge. This is a new feature for subscription boxes.
How am I charged?
We have a fixed date for running credit cards and for shipping items out. Every month, except the first month, your card will be charged on the 25th of the month, and boxes will go out the first week of the month.
There is a little bit of a delay between the charge day and the ship day in case your card doesn't go through, you have time to adjust. It also gives us a clear cut off before we start packing boxes, so we know how many of each type to fill.
The first charge can be a little confusing, so stick with me. If you order before the 11th of the month, you will be charged for and get the current month's box at the time of order. You will be charged again on the 25th for next month's box. If you order after the 11th of the month, you will be charged on the date that you place the order, but your box will go out next month. This system (though confusing) will keep you from getting two boxes in the mail too close to one another.
When can I cancel?
You can cancel anytime after your first delivery. Once payment has gone through, you're in it to win it for that month. As the subscription box gains in popularity, you may have to be added to a waiting list to rejoin the subscription box.
How do I get my box if I chose local pick up?
If you have chosen local pick up as an option, your box will be ready for pick up no later than the 5th of the month. If it is ready sooner, you will get an email notification that your order is ready for pick up.

Returns, Shipping, Pick-up and other Common Questions
- We stand behind our product 100%. If there is an issue with the quality of the product within 30 days, contact us, and we will issue a replacement of the same item or offer credit toward another item from our store.
- If you wish to return a non-defective product, returns will be sent at the buyer's expense.
- All items are shipped Priority Mail via USPS for a Flat Rate Fee of $8.
- If orders are placed before 12 noon, the product will be shipped out the same day(with the exception of holidays and Sundays).
- We ship to the US and Puerto Rico. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.
In-Store Pick Up
- You can order online for in-store pickup.
- Most orders will be ready within the hour.
- An email will be sent when we have completed the order.
- If you have a subscription to pick up, any shipping charges will be refunded.
