We're Looking for a Soapmaker!

Now hiring a Long-Term, Part-Time Soapmaker

  • Looking for long-term work for at least 2 years or more
  • Looking for a part-time job minimum of 6 hours up to 20 hours per week depending on the season. (Busiest soapmaking season is July-October)
  • Able to work independently without supervision after training period

  • $9.00+ per hour to start depending on experience, with a raise when you can work independently after about 90 days.

  • Comfortable lifting 35 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally. This is the weight of our oil containers.
  • Able to be on your feet for 4+ hours in a stretch.
  • Able to be around strong scents and essential oils
  • Sign a non-disclosure, non-compete agreement.
  • Proficient with basic math and measuring with a scale
  • Read and write English at a ninth-grade level
  • Comfortable with using new technology and computers 
  • Must clean up and sanitize after working, including some dish-doing, mopping, organizing, and other clean up
  • Willing to take a drug test
  • A minimum two-year commitment is preferred.

This is a great job for someone that loves to work their hands, loves baking or science. Soapmaking is one part baking, one part science, and one part art. Previous experience in a professional kitchen or lab is a real plus.
